The Flatside Mini crankbait is a wooden bait hand made by The Lure Forge in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate NY.

The Flatside Mini is a shallow diving crankbait designed for pressured fish in shallow water. This bait has a 2 1/4 in balsa body with a circuit board bill. The Flatside Mini was tuned to have an action that maximizes the reflection of the foil with a fast natural swim action with a little body roll to better pick up reflection.  It also is has a slower float allowing the bait to be paused near cover to trigger strikes. The bait runs 3-4ft and weighs in at approximately 3/8oz and comes with super sharp Daiichi hooks.  Each bait features our signature detailed foil scales and gills along with hand painted eyes.

All baits and components are hand crafted and painted in-house.  Each bait is hand tested and tuned before leaving the shop.  Please note these are handmade baits and may have some small variations in color and some minor cosmetic flaws in the finish.
